J. Scott Magrane has spent over 26 years advising power related enterprises including utilities, independent power companies, rural electric cooperatives, governments and energy technology companies. Prior to founding CDP, Mr. Magrane spent 15 years with Goldman Sachs & Co. where his responsibilities encompassed all manner of corporate finance and strategic advisory activities. While at Goldman, he started the firm's Energy Technology effort. Mr. Magrane began his career and spent 10 years with Blyth, Eastman Dillon & Co. and Paine Webber where he specialized in energy and power project finance. Mr. Magrane holds a BA from the College of Wooster and an MBA from Wharton.
