11/30/2009: CDP advises Beacon Financial on Acquisition

BEACON FINANCIAL EXPANDS INVESTMENT SERVICES INTO NEW YORK CITY

MADISON, New Jersey, November 30, 2009 – Beacon Financial Corporation has acquired New York-based Jamison Prince Asset Management, a registered investment advisor, from an affiliate of Centre Partners, a leading middle market private equity firm.

Jamison Prince provides Beacon an entry into the New York wealth management business with investment advisory services for institutions and individuals. Jamison's investment professionals have an average of over 25 years of experience.

Beacon is a New Jersey-chartered bank holding company whose principal subsidiary is Beacon Trust, which provides investment management, financial, family office, trust, tax and estate planning and custodial services to individual, institutions, fund sponsors and Taft-Hartley, corporate and public pension plans.

Coady Diemar Partners initiated the transaction and acted as financial advisor to Beacon; McCarter & English was legal counsel to Beacon.
